Shopify theme customization and Liquid development

Custom sections, product page features, CSS bugs and odd layouts. I write clean Liquid that fits your theme without slowing down the store.

Is this you?

Signs you need theme customization & liquid

A layout bug your theme developer couldn’t fix
You need a section your theme doesn’t include
The product page needs bundles, size guides or custom options
An app is doing something a few lines of Liquid could do
The theme update wiped out your customizations
Mobile layout is broken on certain devices
What’s included

What you get

From $35/hr or fixed quote. Scoped on a call, fixed in writing before work starts.

01Custom sections & blocks

Comparison tables, size guides, lookbooks, FAQ sections, and anything else your merchandising team needs, all editable in the theme editor.

02Product page features

Bundles, variant logic, metafield-driven specs, badges and trust content, with no extra app scripts.

03Bug fixing

CSS, JavaScript and Liquid issues found and fixed at the source instead of patched over.

04App replacement

Swapping heavy apps for lightweight native code where it makes sense, which is good for speed and your monthly bill.

05Metafields & metaobjects

Structured product data your team can edit, which also feeds schema and filters.

06Theme upgrades

Moving your customizations onto a new theme version without losing anything.

Code that respects SEO

Every customization is checked to make sure it doesn’t add duplicate H1s, hide content from crawlers, break schema or add render-blocking scripts. Developers who don’t think about SEO often cause these problems without noticing.

Had the pleasure of using Mr. Alis services for my UK based brand using shopify. I told him we had a deadline and delivered before the deadline was met. Did not keep me up to date due to him constantly working on the project until it was finished! Nothing but good reviews from me shard personal data and can confirm everything has been fine. 10/10 will be using again very affordable service

FAQ

Theme Customization & Liquid questions

Have a different question? Ask me on WhatsApp.

How fast can you fix a Shopify bug?

Small CSS or Liquid fixes are often done the same day. Bigger features are quoted with a fixed timeline before work starts.

Will my customizations survive a theme update?

Code is kept in separate snippets and sections wherever possible, so updates are easier. When a major theme version comes out, I can move everything over for you.

Do you work on paid themes like Impulse, Prestige or Turbo?

Yes, on all popular paid themes and on Dawn and other free Online Store 2.0 themes.

Can you replace an app with custom code?

Often, yes, especially for badges, size charts, simple bundles and FAQ sections. I’ll tell you when an app is actually the better choice.

Want to know what’s holding your store back?

Send me your store URL. I’ll record a short review of the biggest SEO and technical issues I can find — free, and yours to keep whether we work together or not.
